This game is nowhere near a perfect recreation of McCarthyism and the Red Scare, but it is meant to simulate the paranoia, baseless accusations, and tensions of the period.

Mrs. Hale is based on a real school teacher who lost her job as an elementary school teacher because she had previously attended CPUSA meetings.
